Another masked gunman causes a scare at a local south Philadelphia gentlemen’s club. Philadelphia police are looking for an assailant who shot another man on the steps of the establishment. Police have identified the gunman as 25-year old Kyle Carter. According to the police report, the shooting took place in the wee hours in the morning. At approximately 2:11 a.m….gunshots rung outside Club Onyx causing a mass hysteria with club goers.

The cause of the altercation stemmed from an argument involving Carter with a 26-year old male on the front porch upon the closing of the establishment. After the firing of the guns shots, the victim was rushed to Tomas Jefferson University Hospital where he remains in critical condition.

Philadelphia police were able to collect shell casing from the gunfire during their investigation. Even though Club Onyx is one of the city’s largest premiere gentleman’s clubs but this is not the first time there has been gunfire outside the club. Back in July 2010 a man was shot in the neck in an attempted robbery in the clubs parking lot. Now fast forward a few months later in December 2010. Two more were shot in the clubs parking lot. It seems Club Onyx has put themselves in a sticky situation. The prospects of staying open may be more difficult than ever.
