Tampa Strip Clubs Ready to Cash In on G.O.P. Convention
The Republican National Convention will be making its way down to Tampa, Florida for business and a lot of pleasure! The city of Tampa is well known for its beautiful weather, strong Spanish culture, professional sport teams (Tampa Bay Buccaneers & Devil Rays). Oh, how can I forget the sports teams and the great cuisine/restaurants. Oh that’s not it….the strip clubs!!
Tampa has been building a strong reputation as the mecca for exotic dancers and the capital for strip clubs for many years. This argument is always still up for debate and we love that. Plus the PUMPSmag staff will be releasing our PUMPS Club Division which ranks the best gentlemens clubs nationally in every major U.S city! Stay tuned for this fall, as we will give residents and out of towners a deeper look at your favorite strip clubs in your neck of the woods. Imagine what lusty behavior will take place during the national Republican Convention.
Every backdoor will be utilized at every popular strip club from the 2001 Odyssey to The Doll House. In todays world of the internet and gawking media, every politician must walk lightly on a thin rope . Theres no need to ruin your image with a busty nude women wearing nothing but a red, white and blue thong.
Tampa has over 20 strip clubs and a surplus of 50 in the area. The gentlemens club industry is known to rack up mega profits during popular bowl games and the NFL’s Super Bowl. The Republican Convention will be next when they roll into town in September.
Owners at The 2001 Odyssey expect their revenues to soar past Super Bowl Week!!If your not convinced, the New York Times has the facts to back up these numbers. Angelina Spencer, the executive director of the Association of Club Executives, which serves as a trade association for strip clubs, said an informal survey of convention business in New York and Denver had determined that Republicans dropped more money at clubs, by far.“Hands down, it was Republicans,” she said. “The average was $150 for Republicans and $50 for Democrats.”
As further evidence of the clubs’ nonpartisan appeal, Don Kleinhans, the owner of the 2001 Odyssey, said when the Promise Keepers, which is a male evangelical group, came to town years ago, business was booming.“We had phenomenal numbers all weekend, and they walked in wearing badges and name tags and weren’t shy at all,” he said.It seems Tampa will be the lap dancing capital of the U.S. during G.O.P. weekend.
Anyone planning a trip that weekend?
