We’ve all heard the lastest news in the adult industry about iconic performer Ron Jeremy being hospitalized in Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for suffering aneurysm. Jeremy, 59 spoke breifly with the Daily News and explained that he was “extremely close” to death when doctors found the aneurysm VERY close to his heart. Luckily for Mr. Jeremy, he had an emergency surgery performed on him.

After going through this near death experience, Jeremy said “I guess I have a very, very strong will to live.” What’s great for Jeremy is that he has lost approximately 45lbs since this situation has occurred.

Since Mr. Jeremy has decided to change his lifesyle he jokingly said “Eating healthy food is depressing, but it’s keeping me alive” and “My dad is 94 and still going strong. He got mad at me for this. He jokes that he and my mom gave me the perfect body, and I screwed it up.”

Reportedly, Ron Jeremy checked out of the hospital last week and is now in a Hollywood hotel taking it easy and recovering. We’re happy to hear that he’s doing better.
